One step forward, two steps back

Also, here I am late as usual.

We are practicing procedures for independence in the classroom. Also manners. Hoping to then be in shape to begin any parts of this project. Slowed down due to various factors, including having to move the classroom and now lack of internet--not really necessary at this point, but i like to know it is there.

I made a photo essay set to a song for a friend's nonprofit agency. Tons of trouble with pixilation, huge files, format. The more I think I know, the more I find out I need to know. I was able to make a dvd, but someone couldn't repeat the feat. I think I am close though.

I have also been working with some fellow RWPers on digital storytelling. At our next meeting, we'll put them all together and post them on the RWP site. They're really good.

See, some tech success--but not with my project and not with the students.

Hi Harriet:

Well, you are first to respond! And I'm only first to post so that Tracy won't give me stink-eye. She's mean that way. Sounds like you have been doing good techie stuff, while I drown under portfolios! It's over (finally) today. Now just final grades to do.

I like how you are keeping up with projects that interest you, even if one of them is not THE project. :0

Yes, you can have some of my free time. I never teach at HSU in the spring semester, so I am more free. We do have b-ball season, then track, and of course the 8th grade trip! Ack! You know how it goes when you're dopey and you think volunteerism is somehow rewarding, or something....

Happy Holiday!

You are being very productive! I was thinking all my creativity had dried up with all the moving, changes, and back problems.I have a glimmer of hope on the horizon-it won't knock any socks off, but I'm getting some ideas. I can't wait to see the ABC project.
